Hi, Andrey! Not really a big deal, but since this seems to be a part of your cleanup routine, I wanted to point out that the Wikipedia style guidelines explicitly state that image captions which do not form complete sentences should not end in a period. Thanks for all the other cleanup you are doing, though :) Cheers,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); March 5, 2018; 16:59 (UTC)
Kyiv is the official Romanisation of Київ and an accepted alternative spelling in English. Please stop mass-changing it to Kiev for no reason. – Joe (talk) 09:44, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
Hello. In a recent edit to the page Mariano Moreno, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Alexf(talk) 19:54, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
I've counted the instances where each variety was used. British English spellings were used 6 times (labour, afterwards, favourable, honours, antagonised, afterwards). American English spellings were used 10 times (favoring, honor, counselor, channeled, labeled, counselors, neighboring, favor, neighboring, traveled).
As such, the article already leaned towards American English, which is why I changed those 6 British instances in order to standardize the language used throughout the article (an article using spellings from two different English varieties is problematic). If anything, changing it to British English would be a bigger change.
Whenever I edit an article, I always keep in mind the different varieties of English and consider which would be appropriate to use in the article. Even though I personally use American English, I don't have any personal bias towards it. I didn't make this change without considering it first.
If you disagree with the change I've made, you should go ahead and edit the article to exclusively use British English. AndreyKva (talk) 23:37, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
Hi,
What was wrong with adding the percentage of Muslims in Buryatia? I based it on this sentence:"Islam is followed by immigrant groups like Azeris and Uzbeks, who constitute another 0.7% of the population."
Take care :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Museagle (talk • contribs) 12:17, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for your answer, you are right :)

Hello AndreyKva, thank you for you recent cleanup of language on various video game article. While the changes are most helpful, I'd like to address two specific recurring problems:
Thanks, and happy editing! Lordtobi (✉) 05:39, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
Hi AndreyKva. You added the short form references "Shnirelman 2021", "Klein 2004", "Prokofiev, Filatov, Coskello 2006", and "Shizhensky 2009" to Alexey Dobrovolsky, but none of these have any full cite to link with. Could you add the required full cite site to the "Literature" section, or let me know what works these refer to? -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested ∆transmissions∆ °co-ords° 12:28, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
Hi, in this edit on 14 March you introduced {{sfn|McCann|1990|p=75-79}} but did not define the source. This means that nobody can look it up, and also causes the article to be in Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. If you could fix this that would be great. I found this sandbox template User:AndreyKva/sandbox may I move it into mainspace for usage in articles? I am working on a few drafts of people linked on it and I want to put the template on those drrafts as well as on pages of people associated with it. Please tag me with your response as I might not see it otherwise. Immanuelle ❤️💚💙 (talk to the cutest Wikipedian) 00:02, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Vladimir Kirpichnikov (general) you included material copied/translated from the Russian Wikipedia. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 14:14, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
