Hello. I can't help but notice that you have repeatedly instated a cause of death on the infobox on José José's article. As I have previously pointed out, per template guidelines on how to most effectively use infoboxes, the cause of death parameter "should not be filled in for unremarkable deaths such as those from old age or routine illness", and only when "the cause of death has significance for the subject's notability."
Cancer is a common cause of death, no matter the type. There are very few circumstances under which someone dying from cancer is a core portion of their notability, and as far as I can tell, it's unlikely that his dying from pancreatic cancer is going to become that. If you believe otherwise, and that the cause merits inclusion, please seek consensus on the article's talk page. Continuing to place it on the article after other editors remove it is unlikely to make the change permanent, and you may become involved in an edit war.--Sunshineisles2 (talk) 20:49, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
This is a block based on the subjective opinion of the administrator who blocked me. there is no way that putting this image is a violation of the WP:MUG. It's just a picture of Winstein smiling on a red carpet. Gindomarlo (talk) 21:54, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
It's not and you know it. However, maybe you established consensus for this change; please demonstrate that you did so and I would concur the block should be lifted. Yamla (talk) 22:01, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Please stop your disruptive editing.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Hugh Jackman, you may be blocked from editing. 4TheWynne (talk • contribs) 10:12, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:Larry Nassar.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
{{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
