Thanks for your work on the text for the PSU v. UM game last weekend as well as changing the game-time temperature and weather. My information came from the USA Today page; however texts from my brother who was at the game indicated otherwise. The BTN announcers also indicated a temperature/weather which was quite different from USA Today.
I will be out of town on vacation (the family is getting together) in Lancaster County on Saturday. While I'll have the game on the car radio as we travel from place to place, I won't be able to work on real-time scoring update.
Thanks again for your work on the PSU & Phillies pages! Bob305 (talk) 13:13, 22 September 2014 (UTC)
Ive started to do some editing to the Nate Schierholtz article. In the Personal life section, mention is made of his brother Cainin. My thoughts are to remove this info under the guidelines of WP:BLP. What do you think? ```Buster Seven Talk 21:57, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
In one month's time, we will know our WikiCup 2014 champion. Newcomer Godot13 (submissions) has taken a strong lead with a featured list (historical coats of arms of the U.S. states from 1876) and a raft of featured pictures. Reigning champion Cwmhiraeth (submissions) is in second place with a number of high-importance biology articles, including new FA Isopoda and new GA least weasel. Casliber (submissions), who is in his fifth WikiCup final, is in third, with featured articles Pictor and Epacris impressa.
Signups for the 2015 WikiCup are open. All Wikipedians, new and experienced, are warmly invited to sign up for the competition. Wikipedians interested in friendly competition may also like to sign up for the GA Cup, a new WikiCup-inspired competition which revolves around completing good article reviews. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! Thanks for giving me my first career Barnstar. In return, I decided to offer you some cookies. Happy contributing. EternalFloette (talk) 22:39, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
I created a new article, Wrigley Field Renovations. Can you take a look and tell me what you think? Should I add some categories? Baseball? Chicago? Stuff like that. Thanks. ```Buster Seven Talk 23:03, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
{{Main|Wrigley Field renovations}}
at the start of the "Renovation" section in the Wrigley Field article. Note that article titles and section headings should follow sentence case, so "renovations" should be lower case in the article title, and similar modifications should be made to various section headings. I think "Wrigley Field renovations" is fine as a title; putting Wrigley first gives it more emphasis and would place it in a more natural location when sorted alphabetically in a list. There may be some resistance to having a spin-out article, but I think there should be sufficient significant information on the construction process to warrant it, particularly if the article is kept up-to-date. Happy writing! isaacl (talk) 03:17, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
This is getting a little frustrating: diff. This guy has been undoing the infobox honors formatting for several articles over several weeks. I have left messages and included specific edit summaries with links. He does not acknowledge messages and does not engage. Any suggestions? Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 17:27, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
I made a mention of you regarding the previous AN discussion at Jimbo Wales, if you feel i misinformed Jimbo Wales, or forgot to mention a specific detail, i urge you to respond and clarify. Other than that, i hope this isn't a bother to you. Lucia Black (talk) 08:32, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

The 2014 WikiCup champion is Godot13 (submissions), who flew the flag of the Smithsonian Institution. This was Godot13's first WikiCup competition and, over the 10 months of the competition, he has produced (among other contributions) two featured lists and an incredible 292 featured pictures, including architectural photographs and scans of historical documents. Cwmhiraeth (submissions), 2012 and 2013 WikiCup champion, came in second, having written a large number of biology-related articles. Casliber (submissions), WikiCup finalist every year since 2010, finished in third.
A full list of our prize-winners follows:
Congratulations to everyone who has been successful in this year's WikiCup, whether you made it to the final rounds or not, and a particular congratulations to the newcomers to the WikiCup who have participated this year. Wow, I was trying to edit my AIV report but it was already done. Thanks. I wanted to add that the history of Swimming pool may need tidying to clear a racially abusive term. Thanks, Bazj (talk) 21:04, 15 November 2014 (UTC)

Hey Go Phightins. I've posted some initial information and discussions points about the space for mentors here. Give it a read, ask questions on what's not clear, and feel free to add suggestions to the topics I've brought up about mentoring so far. I just pinged a bunch of people at once for this; I understand that sometimes it doesn't go through, so I wanted to make sure you were aware. Thanks, I, JethroBT drop me a line 22:40, 5 December 2014 (UTC)

To my fellow Wikipedia editors: It has been such a pleasure to work with you this year. Thanks to all of you who supported my request for adminship, who have supported me since getting the tools, and who help make it look like I can write articles, or perhaps more accurately, handle templates :-) I want to take a moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May it be a joyous time of celebration for you and your families, and may God be with you all. God bless, Go Phightins! 06:17, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
For the record, the IP you just left a talk page comment with (here: ), 70.190.229.97, has been editing fairly disruptively even after other editors have tried reaching out to him repeatedly for a week. I think there's more here than immediately meets the eye, but would love to be wrong about that. He also hasn't tried communicating on his talk page, just deleting comments left by others and remaining largely unresponsive. His latest edit summary is the first I've seen from him that's even minimally acknowledged he's not helping but editing disruptively. Edit warring behavior without any modicum of discussion from him has been an issue, as well. Not saying you shouldn't have reached out on his talk page as you did, just saying that his editing history and ignoring of suggestions so far has been a bit problematic. -- WV ● ✉ ✓ 22:52, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
