Thanks for uploading Image:Tobymac1.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:07, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Hey, Lovelaughterlife. Good job for getting that pic. It was much needed. But you really need to get a license tag for it. Without that tag, it may be deleted, and that would not help us at all. If you need any help, please talk to me. I very much want to work with you on a couple articles, especially this one.--Chili14 02:00, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
I tagged your page Bear Creek Secondary School to be speedily deleted from wikipedia because it was blank with no meaningful content. See WP:CSD for a dicussion of speedy deletion criteria. Feel free to re-create the article if you have meaningful content to include. Best, Irongargoyle 03:51, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Just my way of saying thanks to newcomers to the Kindness Campaign... a delicious home-baked chocolate chip cookie! Yum. :D ♥ Kylu (talk • contribs • email • logs • count) |
Thanks for the comment. It took me a long time to make that so i couldn't get the other schools in yet. Wikada - Talk Contributions 22:49, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Bcsskodiakrugby.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. --Eastmain 05:50, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Why, thanks. :) We all do our part in building an encyclopedia, and since I don't think I'm so hot at writing articles, I sink time into this, instead. Luna Santin 22:58, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

For many contributions with limited reward, I present you with this Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar. Considering how many barnstars you give you, you deserve a few, too. Sharkface217 00:35, 1 November 2006 (UTC) |
Hello, Lovelaughterlife! I see that you have expressed an interest in being adopted by an experienced editor. I accept your request, being an experienced editor myself. Whether you want to learn about wiki markup, find something to do, or just talk to somebody, I'm the one you can talk to - just leave a message on my talk page. Good luck with Wikipedia! •Sean•gorter•(T) (P) 05:40, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Welcome, Lovelaughterlife, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is Stressbusters, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact our administrator general Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!
I think that it would be wiser to just make all the edits from one account. If that's all you will be doing, it is not worth getting blocked. Chili14 made several userpage edits, and was never blocked for it.--Chilifix 00:23, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Absolutely! Pleased to hear you like my contributions... you caught me at a good time, I've been picking up -- finally -- after being a bit lazy for the past few months (too busy to do anything that takes a while, and too tired to do anything involving thinking processes :-) I'm getting back into the encyclopedia, though, and hope I can be of help to you! Are you mostly interested in creating/editing articles, or in vandalism, categories, stub-sorting, wikifying, etc?

Thanks. It's hard to believe that it's already been two years. Cheers! – ClockworkSoul 07:10, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
(I won't say because I've forgotten for a while}. ;) …But anyway, I'm here, now, and I am remembering to say: "I love your username." ;) — $PЯINGrαgђ Always loyal! 05:32, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Heh, thanks for sticking up for me on my talk page, Lovelaughterlife. I assume that he assumed that I created Esperanza (that's a lot of assuming, though... probably not good!), though, so it probably wasn't meant in that manner. And even if it was, I know it's not all my fault. ;) It's good to feel validated though, so thanks!
By the way, great sunflowers picture on your userpage! It's really bright and cheerful. -- Natalya 16:23, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

No, I'm not Canadian. In fact, where I live we don't even celebrate Thanksgiving. But I really appreciate your warm wishes, and that's what really matters. :-) Best regards/Happy Thanksgiving, --Húsönd 23:39, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the Turkey Day greeting. Although I know most Canadians don't celebrate Thanksgiving, I do hope that your Turkey Day was pleasant and stuffing-filled. Sharkface217 21:18, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
Gosh, thank you so much for the Barnstar! I really didn't expect it!! I just did my job, you know... But thanks a lot, a really appreciate it! ;) Funk Junkie 18:48, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Sure, that's better. It could do with some sources though, unless they're all from the web sites in the external links. Mark Grant 18:57, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
