Hello! Your submission of Princess Alice of the United Kingdom at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Bradjamesbrown (talk) 08:18, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
When Jan 1, 2010 rolled around this portal display went awry. I checked it on both my computers and it looks the same: some portlets display on the left with blank space on the right, some display across the whole screen, and then some display on the right with blank space on the left. I changed my screen settings and it doesn't help. I have not changed any of the portal's code, so one would think something with the new monthly content is breaking it, but I have no idea what. It displayed fine prior to that. Can you help? Thanks. — Rlevse • Talk • 14:46, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
I made a few small copy edits to Princess Alice of the United Kingdom. I left a few notes inline for you to consider. Best wishes, NW (Talk) 04:59, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
PeterSymonds, I made a few small changes to both of these articles regarding the images:

I was in the process of creating the page, was this not abundantly clear to you as you tagged it for deletion in a rather slap happy fashion? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackboyh (talk • contribs) 12:03, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
I am slightly confused as to why you have deleted the Skasome Society Page..I have followed all of the instructions for citing, as well as the A7 guidelines. Skasome pops up a few times in the Westfield Mass under bands with Killswitch Engage, and I am just irritated with all the work I had put In. If you could help me out, it is greatly appreciated —Preceding unsigned comment added by Krb582 (talk • contribs) 16:28, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi Peter
Can you shed some light on why this was removed? there wasn't anything offensive or random just a definition of a term being used in sports?
Paul —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulh22 (talk • contribs) 12:59, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi Peter,
You were super quick to delete before I could even learn how to "hang on". No worries, though.
I have read a couple people's inquiries as to why they were deleted. I realize I know very little about Wiki's rules as I was just trying this out, but can you shed more light on why I was deleted. Is it that I need verifiable sources saying that "reuseconnection" is an actual entity? Does a trademark work?
Thanks, Ian Moise —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ianmoise (talk • contribs) 19:53, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi Peter, Yes, please restore the page to my userspace so I can work on it at my own pace. Thanks very much for the feedback. Ian Moise

that you are the person (you're not a BOT, are you?) who blocked the Embudo Valley Library computers from editing. I am pretty confident that this was not your intention, none-the-less it appears to have been what happened. I need to know more about this, like, how do it get the block lifted, because a patron is coming i tomorrow (Sat Jan 9) to register, after not being able to do so a few days ago. If someone is up to no-good from my library I'd like to know. If you have blocked all of Rio Arriba counnty because someone in Espanola is up to no good, that does not seem like a good idea. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 21:30, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello, PeterSymonds. Since you have encountered both Sennen goroshi (talk · contribs) for Nürburgring lap times and his suspected sock IPs119.173.81.176 (talk · contribs) for your block of the IP 119.173.81.176 (talk · contribs) as well as your specialty in WP:SPI, your insight and input would be highly appreciated at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sennen goroshi. Thanks.--Caspian blue 15:56, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi Peter, On Jan 7/9, we conversed about my entry for ReuseConnection page. After it was deleted, you offered to place it in my userspace so I can improve it at my leisure. Were you able to do that? I have not found it yet.
Thanks very much, Ian Moise —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ianmoise (talk • contribs) 21:32, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi Peter, Sorry, I didn't add the header on my last entry. Please restore ReuseConnection to my userspace so I can improve it at my leisure. Regards, Ian Moise —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ianmoise (talk • contribs) 21:33, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
I just saw your message on Ceranthor's talk page, and I'd be willing to help clerk SPI if they're short-staffed. –Juliancolton | Talk 03:29, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi Peter. I just wanted to say a (somewhat belated) thanks for your !vote at my RfA - it's nice to know I'm still remembered by some of the people at DYK. Are you still active there? I've been toying with the idea of getting involved again, perhaps helping out with the tools if need be, but haven't yet gotten around to diving into the guidelines to see what's changed. Cheers, Olaf Davis (talk) 22:38, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Dind't you know I'd passed RFB man???? Seriously - RFAH / RFAF - doh! Cheers buddy. Pedro : Chat 22:31, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
Not sure if you still have the article watchlisted, but thought you might be interested in this suggestion and also in this. Carcharoth (talk) 14:59, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
For this revert I haven't actively edited in so long I find it hard to believe some vandals can't let go and move on. Anyhow thanks again. 98.220.129.79 (talk) 23:16, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi, sorry, not sure if I formatted the report correctly on Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Wikiuser999120 or added it to WP:SPI right... do you think you could take a quick look? Thanks! ╟─TreasuryTag►draftsman─╢ 12:57, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
I noticed that you are an Awesome Wikipedian and interested in the UK. Could you possibly direct me to or do an info box for commons such as Wimbledon Common or Selborne Common. Or maybe you think I could use the protected area box like on Dartmoor. Thank you SuzanneKn (talk) 21:19, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Hello, I see you have declined protection to this page as you feel the edit war is over. There is a user who attempted to put a nonsense quote from Craig Ferguson on that page (regarding three nipples, plays harp, and is pregnant) repeatedly. When he (or they, at least one of the IPs were from a Maryland university) was denied doing this several times because the content was trivial and false, he moved to The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson to continue this action there. He was denied adding this information again, because it was untrue. He has now created an account called "BulliesStink" (because he feels people are being harsh to him for not letting him add this nonsense information) and if you follow the history you can see he was responding to earlier edit actions to try to reinsert this information. When another editor told him his attempt to justify putting the content on the site was invalid due to it being on YouTube, he started stripping out all references to YouTube throughout the page from other editors. While I understand YouTube shouldn't be used as a primary source and stripping these out may be valid to a certain extent, he continues to be destructive and persistent in his acts. Some help would be appreciated. Regards, Lil LovelyLillith (talk) 18:59, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Peter, I think I caught a reporting error in the Haiti Earthquake page, but since I am not on the editor list I cannot fix it. Text in Response section currently states"
"On 18 January, 100 U.S. troops parachuted onto the lawn ... "
I suggest change to:
"On 18 January, 100 U.S. troops were transported by helicopter onto the lawn ..."

The other day I put the above article up for semi-protection as an ip user is continually removing sourced content from the article. As you declined this, and as it has happened again, with the ip user now leaving me messages saying that they will only stop deleting the sourced content if I can provide a reason for it being retained [which I had already done on the articles talk page two days ago], may I ask your advice as to what to do next? This appears to have arisen originally back in late-December when another user, Dudesleeper, removed content from the Nottingham Forest F.C. article, and the ip user took exception to this, and left a message on that users talk page - where the Stephen Crainey article had been the focus of a previous discussion. The following day the ip user started blanking out a section on the Stephen Crainey article and has continued to do so since then, under various similar ip addresses. It does seem as though this is in some sort of retaliation for Dudesleepers actions on the Nottingham Forest article. I had already left a message on the articles talk page. What should I do now? Thanks,--♦Tangerines♦·Talk 01:08, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Please send me explicit reasons why you considered it necessary to delete the page without giving me the chance to correct it?
If you could attach a copy with suggestions, I would be obliged.

You deleted Edgardo B. Maranan citing A7 even though the person in the article is listed as a notable figure (Hall of Fame member) in Palanca Awards. Doesn't it merely need cleanup? 70.71.177.50 (talk) 18:56, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Ok, I got burned. I was thinking the common sense of it all - elevating rights on an account that they've created because they're afraid of being hacked/passwords capture just seems contrary to common sense...it doesn't solve the issue of hacking/password capture. I need Your help to create it, because i found enough material to put enough references on it but i could not find a good template for it. Please help me to make this article. I am new to WiKi that's why i am not so experienced in article creation. Please reply to me in "my talk". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hurley100 (talk • contribs) 16:31, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
