Hi Sesel I notice you deleted this political epiphet.. It is, of course, a matter of opinion, but I felt this was a valid addition. I have heard it used with great contempt by people criticising the appeasement of dictators, most recently towards those who were against the invasion of Iraq. Cheers ping 07:44, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
I am about to temporarily leave Wikipedia. As you may have noticed, I have contributed a lot to areas about modern politics, and I seem to have taken charge of updating List of foreign ministers in 2005. I know that you also edit a lot about political events, and am wondering if you could take over maintaining that page, or help me find someone else to do it. Thank you. I have put up Democratic Labour Party (Trinidad and Tobago) as a FAC. I was wondering if you might be willing to contribute any feedback (I should have asked you at the peer review stage, didn't think of it at the time). Thanks.

Could you provide more info about the Central African Republic's new prime minister so the changes could be made to the appropriate pages. Thanks Zntrip 01:56, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)Zntrip

Please explain how this article is "notable" w.r.t. Inappropriate Uses of Wikipedia? Ariele 03:08, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Bangladesh Awami League is NOT a left wing party. Rather it can be termed as liberal/moderate center right. Thanks. --Ragib 02:59, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Hi, I found you on the list of Wikipedians from Minnesota. I've been working on the Norman Borlaug article and we need some GFDL compatible images, are you in the vicinity of the University of Minnesota St Paul Campus? If so would you be able to take a picture of the bust of Borlaug at Borlaug Hall, you can see the non-free pic here Image:Borlaug2003.jpg. Many thanks if you can, and thanks anyway if you can't. --nixie 1 July 2005 03:53 (UTC)
I fixed the outdated information that Sulejman Tihić is still the chairman of the Presidency. Is there anything else? I can't find any other urgent changes on Google News at least. --Joy [shallot] 9 July 2005 15:08 (UTC)
Pawlenty has faced some criticism for traveling abroad while the economy and living conditions deteriorated after September 11.
could you provided some stats showing living conditions deteriorated in MinnesotaSmith03 16:36, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
hi, when i write rv-> Sesel it means i reverted to your correct version. But i know it's just my way and it seems it can be misinterpreted, sorry for that. (:Julien:) 19:05, 17 July 2005 (UTC)
Hi,
I'd like to know what you would think about starting a 'Leftist Parties and Movements COTW'? --Soman
Hi. I was wondering whether you'd like to have a look over the dispute at Criticisms of communism and the RfC at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Ultramarine. This is a situation involving a POV warrior that is intent on purging the wiki of all "incorrect" views - that is, views contrary to his right-wing Truth. -- Mihnea Tudoreanu 18:37, 21 July 2005 (UTC)
You have blocked List of U.S. foreign interventions since 1945 just after an edit who erased a lot of entries without propper discution in the forum... all the entries were erased by the desition of only one user... I think it would bebetter to revert to the last edit before the last user (Jebba edit) and then block it again... I agree with you that this list must be discussed, but I think the blocked version should have all the "allegued" entries...

Thanks for your kindness. I can't believe I'm already 17! —Seselwa 06:46, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
Your claim that because Bislama was lexified by english, therefore a Bislama word is in fact and English word is still erroneous; my assertion to that effect was not "uneducated". Since the existence of the term "Ni-Vanuatu" is not in question, but it's appropriateness for use on wikipedia, the burden is on you to demonstrate that this is the common English term, as article/category names are based on common usage (per the examples I cited). The OED, the wiktionary, and dictionary.com speak to this question, and were provided as evidence while your own argument was not supported. It's not "uneducated" of me to point out a flaw in your argument and make a conclusion based on the evidence provided. siafu 15:31, 16 August 2005 (UTC)
You made some sensible comments on proof in the social sciences in Ultramarine's RfC. Unfortunately, it didn't sink in; in fact, some more recent comments have led me to suspect that his real standard is: it's a good source if it supports my PoV.
I have also been persuaded to file an RfAr against him for more obvious violations of policy. Septentrionalis 18:03, 18 August 2005 (UTC)
Hi there. You might like to ahve a look at this since you seem to be into this sort of thing. It's come up a lot in things I've been reading lately but I couldn't find any good information about it. I've created this stub, do you think you can find any more info? Palmiro | Talk 17:59, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
On the list of official languages by country Mais oui! keeps adding Wales claiming that it is a country. I have told him to stop adding it, but he wont stop. Could you talk some sense into him to get him to stop? – Zntrip 01:38, 10 September 2005 (UTC)
On which basis you tag bio articles with Category:Democracy activists? I've recently removed this category from the Saad Hariri article, since this politician is highly criticised and putting this category is very NPOV. And I'm sure that there's a lot of articles that face the same issue. Do you think this category is really "safe"? CG 17:25, 18 September 2005 (UTC)
I realize that Domingo Sarmiento was both a writer and a political figure, but do we really have to list him twice? -- Jmabel | Talk 00:11, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
I might be the fact that English is not my mothertongue that confuse me. How do you define 'national office'? Is that only restricted to head of government or head of state, or would it include other ministers in national governments? --Soman 19:14, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
Hi,
have a look at Wikipedia:Leftist Parties and Movements Collaboration of the Week. --Soman 20:17, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
Hello Sesel. I'm contacting you since you are listed at Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Minnesota. I'm going to be at a conference in Minneapolis and am planning a Wikipedia meetup for October 8. If you are near Minneapolis at that time, please see Wikipedia:Meetup/Minneapolis. Angela. 20:50, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
Hey, just a heads up: I removed Filiberto Ojeda Ríos from the Assasinations list based on his own talk page Talk:Filiberto Ojeda Ríos. Maybe start a discussion there to get a consensus on this, to change the perception of the event to make it a definite inclusionor exlusion? Daemon8666 21:53, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
He's back at removing the Operation Rescue item on a political agenda. I've reported him 3RR, but the admins there seem slow to get around to blocking him. Of course, even when they do, that will be short term. Would you mind keeping an eye on that also? Thanks much.
Btw. I love your Tariq Ali quote on your user page. I've always liked Ali's writing, though I must confess I let my NLR subscription lapse a couple years back. Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters 05:54, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
I'm merely removing a blatant point-of-view. There is no evidence suggesting that OR itself could be classified as a terrorist organization, unless you consider non-violent clinic blockades and protests "terrorism" (I'm sure some at the very far end of left field could).
Wikipedia is not an outlet to express one's political convictions. There are much better places to do this. --Jakes18 19:57, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
