Bonjour,
I tried to contact Vanischenu on his user page and you wrote that he was not very active these days. Can you help us in solving our problem? Prof. Joseph Davidovits (talk) 13:54, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
User:Strike Eagle is a fantastic Indian English Wikipedian. He has been editing Wikipedia for almost 5 years, and created and expanded a large number of articles. I have worked with him in many articles. He is a very friendly person and has excellent knowledge on Wikipedia. He has surprised me many times by his dedication and diligence to improve Indic content on Wikipedia. Very recently he conducted a meetup in Hyderabad, I hope he'll do a lot more good works. --Tito Dutta (talk) 16:38, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Kitchen of Joy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Adda. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Puri GAN is under review. Can you tell me from a reliable news paper reference as to how many millions attended the Nabakalebara 2015. Also, can any one throw light on the identity of W.J. Wilkinson who has been quoted in this book I have asked Shailleshpat but he is not responding to my mails for quite some months. Can some one in your units help? Thanks--Nvvchar. 02:06, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
Hey, just letting you know I replied to your e-mail. I'm going to send out a message to my professor asking if there'd be any interest with the library students if a project was set up to help sort and categorize material to create a master list. It's definitely something that would be of value education-wise for MLIS students. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 11:01, 4 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi, Titto. I primarily edit Nadar articles. I am here to talk about the recent edits made by Rabtman to the Channar revolt. He has added refs to support his claims. However I doubt the validity of these refs. Rabtman is primarily here to glorify Nair relevant articles(please go through his history). He has inlcuded lines like the nadars were untouchacbles etc. Now this is a very complicated topic. According to Hardgrave and Templeman, leading anthropologists on this topic, the nadars were not untouchables. Some nadars were historically land lords. So the term Nadar today refers to all these different Nadars subcastes. The former status of all these Nadar subcastes were different from each other. So this is something we have to discuss. Most of the lines seem to glorify the Nair community(most of his edits to). I didnt revert his edits. I didnt do anything. Because I am tired of all this. My account is currently used by wife as I am very busy nowadays. Admins do not usually intervene to edit nadar pages. But I have done my best to keep the page as neutral as possible. I actually started editing because a long time ago the page was heavily attacked anti-nadar groups. I think that trend is coming back now. Please go through the recent made by rabtman to the chanar revolt article. He claims that the Nair women were allowed to cover their upper body. This topic has always baffled me. According to the Nair article, the nairs didnt cover their upper bodies(men and women). I would be obliged if you would go through the recent edits made by rabtman to the chanar revolt article. Most of the lines he included do not make sense. I am pretty thorough with this topic. I am willing to help you by providing you whatever info I can(I have the Hardgrave and Templeman book with me). If you are busy please recommend me some other editor who would be interested to edit these pages. I just want these articles to be maintained by neutral editors(Like the Nair article). Thank you for your time.Mayan302 (talk) 09:22, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
Can you help getting imgs of Kashmir Walnut Wood Carving, Devanahalli Pomello, Kamalapur Red Banana, and Thoda Embroidery either from Wikicommons, flickr or by taking pictures in Bangalore so that I can post them on DYK? Thanks.--Nvvchar. 15:15, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
Please check my edits and post on DYK with a suitable hook.--Nvvchar. 11:56, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
On 11 February 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 6 Ballygunge Place, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that 6 Ballygunge Place, a restaurant chain in Kolkata, has a haath-pakha (hand fans) decor that conveys the elegance of a decorated Durga Puja hall or a setting for a period film? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/6 Ballygunge Place. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Hi Tito, some user (from multiple IPs) is constantly harassing me by making personal attacks on my user and talk pages for the past three weeks. I seriously suspect it must be User:Daan0001, as he was blocked temporarily (after I filed a report on him for edit-warring). It was during his block, the attacks were made - with ethnic slurs. They have made three more attacks in the past ten days: , , . Any thoughts? —Vensatry (Talk) 15:06, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
Dear Titodutta, Greetings! We've communicated with each other 3 or 4 years ago but not too much lately. I'm hoping when you get a chance you could look at the page for Ramanujan College. As described on the talk page, I recently moved it from Deshbandhu College, because the page and the college website said the college had been renamed. But now on closer inspection I see that BOTH colleges are still listed on the U Delhi website. See talk page. Perhaps this has something to do with Morning/Evening, but that's unclear to me, and perhaps involves terminology widely understood in India but not elsewhere. I have less time for Wikipedia than previously, so I'm hoping those who understand better than me can clean up the naming and clarify morning/evening. Best -- Presearch (talk) 19:45, 13 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi Tito,
I speedy-tagged Paduaas as this appears to be self-promotional article by Prince padua, but the user has removed the tag. Please have a look. --Muzammil (talk) 08:05, 18 February 2016 (UTC)

By the way what happened to the announcement of the Asia Month 2015 final results. Even the cards which we were supposed to get have not been received so far. --Nvvchar. 10:16, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
@Nvvchar:: All the results are listed at here while we want to finish the postcard sending and beautify this page before announcing it. Sorry for the postcard delay. There are many work for postcard sending, for example, I need to confirm every submit are eligible users and separate username with physical addresses in order to keep the privacy. One-third of the postcards are sent and rest of communities have set the date they will send all postcards already. Hope you will receive it soon.--AddisWang (talk) 16:25, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
