Hello, welcome to wikipedia! I'll have to add your works to my to-read list. Most recently I've read Speaker for the Dead, which IMO was great, and The Green Mile, which IMO was ok but not great. I'm always up for interesting reading, though. Who would you liken yourself to as an author (or would you? probably not, who likes to?) --KQ
Hi, KQ! I'm not sure there's anyone I'd liken myself to, though I can cite writers who've had a great deal of influence on my work: Gene Wolfe, Tim Powers, Orson Scott Card, Michael Bishop, and Isaac Asimov would probably top the list. Note that this doesn't mean I'm placing myself in that class. I'm a big fan of Speaker for the Dead, though I think the series loses steam as it goes along. --b
