User talk:Wikilibrarian
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello, welcome to Wikipedia. Sorry your entry here was a little more rocky than it should have been. People often get overly defensive about Wikipedia, especially if they expect someone is using it for self-advertising, which a lot of people do by adding external links, so don't take it personally that you were accused of this. I'm sure people see now that this was never your intention. If you would like the edits you made before you got an account to be attributed to your new username, you can ask for this on the changing attribution for an edit page. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page.
Wikilibrarian is taking a short wikibreak and will be back on Wikipedia |
Some pages you might find useful are: how to edit, how to write a great article, naming conventions, manual of style and the Wikipedia policies.
I hope the bad start doesn't put you off and you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Angela. 01:09, Jan 29, 2004 (UTC)

Thanks to both of you for the welcome and advice. I don't take my "rough" start here as a strike against Wikipedia. I am sure I will be a positive addition to Wikipedia. Best regards. Wikilibrarian
You might want to format your list of readings like how i've done at History of Yugoslavia (in bullet pt fmt). Cheers, Jiang 03:17, 5 Jun 2004 (UTC)
