Zalesovsky District

Zalesovsky District (Russian: Зале́совский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the krai. The area of the district is 3,274 square kilometers (1,264 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Zalesovo.[1] Population: 15,074 (2010 Census);[3] 17,714 (2002 Census);[6] 20,405 (1989 Census).[7] The population of Zalesovo accounts for 48.4% of the district's total population.[3]
