The 2024–25 season was the 118th season in the history of Real Betis, and the club's tenth consecutive season in La Liga. In addition to the domestic league, the club participated in the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Conference League, reaching the final of the latter competition.

The pre-season began on 8 July, with the team camping in Seefeld, Austria from 10–20 July. The pre-season concluded on 10 August.[39] The match on 7 August was supposed to be against Raja CA, but the club was unable to travel due to internal issues.[40]

- La Liga gained an additional Champions League place as a result of Spain gaining one of the two European Performance Spots (EPS) awarded to the two associations with the highest UEFA coefficient points in 2024–25.[43]
- The 2024–25 Copa del Rey winner qualified for the Europa League league stage. Since the cup winners (Barcelona) qualified based on league position, the Europa League spot was passed to the seventh-placed team, and the Conference League spot was passed to the eighth-placed team.
