Venues

The five venues will be Perth Stadium, Brisbane Cricket Ground, Adelaide Oval, Melbourne Cricket Ground and Sydney Cricket Ground. The venues and dates for the series were announced by Cricket Australia on 16 October 2024.[6][7]

The Perth Stadium (also known as the Optus Stadium) will host the first Test of the series.[8] This will be the first time the Perth Stadium will host an Ashes Test and will also mark the return of Ashes cricket to Perth, after the city was not included in the schedule for the 2021–22 series.[9]

This will also be the first Ashes series in Australia not to commence at Brisbane Cricket Ground in Brisbane, since the 1982–83 series. Brisbane will instead host the second Test of the series, which will be a day/night match.[10]
