The 2025 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup will be the 13th edition of Women's Cricket World Cup. It is scheduled to be hosted jointly by Sri Lanka and India.[1] It is India's fourth time hosting the women's World Cup, after the 1978, 1997, and 2013 editions, and Sri Lanka's first time hosting the event. This will be the last time that the tournament will have eight teams.[2] Australia are the defending champions, having won their seventh title in 2022. In June 2025, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that the tournament will take place from 30 September to 2 November 2025.[3]

It was originally announced that the tournament would take place in five different venues across India; Indore, Thiruvananthapuram, Nava Raipur, Mullanpur and Vishakhapatnam,[5] with Mullanpur scheduled to host the final.[6] With the Women's World Cup coinciding with the men's domestic fixtures, the BCCI had selected five venues for the tournament, prioritising favourable weather conditions and efficient logistical arrangements.[7]
Moreover, after Pakistan's qualification for the World Cup, their matches will be played outside India at a neutral venue.[8]
In June 2025, ICC announced the final venues in India and Sri Lanka, for the World Cup.[3] The tournament will be played in hybrid model. The venues are Bengaluru, Guwahati, Indore and Visakhapatnam in India, and Colombo in Sri Lanka.[9] In August 2025, ICC announced that the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai replaced Bengaluru for the tournament.[10]
Squads
On 19 August 2025, India became the first to announce their squad for the tournament.[11] England announced their squad on 21 August 2025.[12] Bangladesh announced their squad for 23 August 2025.[13]
