Early life

Abdaal Bela was born in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan, to Ch. Fazal Din. His parents migrated from Ludhiana, British India, and settled in Lahore after the partition of 1947. Bela completed his schooling and college education from Government College Lahore. He pursued higher education at Government College Lahore and later graduated with an MBBS degree from Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad.

Professional career

After completing his medical degree, Abdaal Bela began his career as a captain in the Pakistan Army Medical Corps. His career included service in the Saudi Army and later in the Pakistan Navy, showcasing his versatility and dedication to service.

In 1997, he earned a Master of Science in Hospital Administration from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He retired as a colonel in 2007, concluding his career in the Pakistan Army, during which he served as the Deputy Director at the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
