Not to be confused with the field maple Acer campestre, which has Acer robustum Opiz as a synonym.

Acer robustum is a species of flowering plant in the soapberry family Sapindaceae, native to central and southern China.^[1] It is a member of Acer section Palmata, series Palmata.^[2]
