Other names in common use include CobU, adenosylcobinamide kinase/adenosylcobinamide-phosphate, guanylyltransferase, and AdoCbi kinase/AdoCbi-phosphate guanylyltransferase. This enzyme is part of the biosynthetic pathway to cobalamin (vitamin B₁₂) in bacteria.
