In Greek mythology, Admetus (/ædˈmtəs/; Ancient Greek: Ἄδμητος, romanized: Admetos, lit.'"untamed", "untameable"')[citation needed] was a Trojan warrior and son of Augeas. He was killed by Philoctetes during the night of the siege of Troy.[1]
