Amine Et-Taïbi

Amine Et-Taïbi (Arabic: أمين الطيبي; born 5 February 2003) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Dutch Eerste Divisie club Helmond Sport on loan from Mechelen. Born in Belgium, he is a youth international for Morocco.

Club career

Et-Taïbi is a youth product of Mechelen and Genk, and signed his first professional contract with Genk on 6 December 2018.^[2] On 28 July 2021, he signed a second contract with Genk until 2024.^[2] He debuted with their reserves, Jong Genk, in August 2022.^[3]

On 19 July 2023, Et-Taïbi transferred to Club NXT on a two-year contract.^[4] He made his senior debut with Club Brugge at the 2024 Belgian Super Cup on 20 July 2024, a 2–1 loss to Union Saint-Gilloise.^[5]

On 5 August 2025, signed a two-year contract with Mechelen and was immediately loaned to Helmond Sport in the Netherlands for the 2025–26 season.^[6]

International career

Et-Taïbi was born in Belgium, and is of Moroccan descent. From 2018 to 2021, he represented Belgium from U15 to U19 levels.^[7] In June 2023, he was called up to the Morocco U20s for the 2023 Maurice Revello Tournament.^[8] In March 2023, he was called up to the Morocco U23s for a set of 2024 Summer Olympics qualification matches.^[9]
