Koehler's gecko

Koehler's gecko (Ancylodactylus koehleri) is a species of gecko, a lizard in the family Gekkonidae. The species is native to Central Africa.

Etymology

The specific name, koehleri, is in honor of Max Köhler who collected the holotype.^[3]

Geographic range

A. koehleri is found in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea,^[1][2] and also in Gabon and Nigeria.^[1]

Habitat

The preferred natural habitat of A. koehleri is forest, at altitudes of 560–1,500 m (1,840–4,920 ft).^[1]

Reproduction

A. koehleri is oviparous.^[2]
