Leptoxis crassa

Athearnia crassa, the boulder snail, was a species of freshwater snail in the family Pleuroceridae. It was^[when?] native to the United States, where it was known from Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia. It is now extinct.^[1]
