Aysak

Aysak (Persian: آيسك)^[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Aysak District^[b] of Sarayan County, South Khorasan province, Iran.^[5] It also serves as the administrative center for Aysak Rural District.^[6]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 5,023 in 1,399 households.^[7] The following census in 2011 counted 4,756 people in 1,488 households.^[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 5,143 people in 1,639 households.^[2]
