Chequiaraju,^[2][3] Chequiarajo,^[4] or Checquiacraju^[5] (possibly from Quechua, chiqlla green,^[6] rahu snow, ice, mountain with snow)^[7] is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru,^[5] about 5,286 metres (17,343 ft) high.^[3][5] It is situated in the Ancash Region, Carhuaz Province, Shilla District.^[8] Chequiaraju lies northwest of Hualcán and the lake Chiqllaqucha.^[4]
