Plicifusus minor is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Buccinidae, the true whelks.[1]
This species was first described by William Healey Dall in 1925. Volutopsius minor was the original taxonomic designation,[2] but subsequent taxonomic revisions have reclassified it under the genus Plicifusus.
Description
The shell of Plicifusus minor can reach a length of up to 57 millimeters. Detailed morphological characteristics beyond shell length are not yet extensively documented in the available literature.

Distribution
This marine species occurs off Hokkaido and Sakhalin in the Sea of Okhotsk.[3]
