The Ibaraki Robots (茨城ロボッツ, Ibaraki Robottsu) are a Japanese professional basketball team based in Mito, Japan. They compete in the Eastern Conference of the First Division of the Japanese B.League.[2] The team's name originates from its initial location in Tsukuba, Japan, which is well known for its scientific research laboratories and promotes itself as the "City of Robots."[3]
