Toby Aaron Hamilton (born July 16, 2001), better known by his stage name Barelyhuman (/ˈbɛr.liˌhjuː.mən/), stylized as 6arelyhuman, is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper. He found success on TikTok with his songs "Hands Up!" with kets4eki and Pixel Hood, "XOXO (Kisses Hugs)" with horrormovies and Pixel Hood, and "GMFU" with Odetari, which he classifies as "Sassy Scene". He is a founding member of the artist collective FabFantasy, which he left in 2024. FabFantasy disbanded in 2025.

Career

Before pursuing music, Hamilton made edits of Japanese anime music videos on YouTube.^[1]

Hamilton started releasing music in 2019. In 2021, he released his debut single "Pretty Lil Bitch", using the name 6arelyhuman.

Hamilton released "Hands Up!" with Kets4eki and Pixel Hood in 2022. The song became his first to chart on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, reaching number 14. Hamilton also collaborated with Odetari on the song "GMFU", which entered the top five. It also reached number 23 on New Zealand Music Chart, his only main chart debut.^[2]

He released his debut studio album, Sassy Scene, on March 3, 2023.

On February 28, 2024, Hamilton released "Faster n Harder". The song is inspired by the character Angel Dust from the adult animated musical comedy television series Hazbin Hotel.^{[citation needed]} Remixes featuring asteria, kets4eki, Tara Yummy, Lil Texas, and Zak Conner were subsequently released.

He embarked on a European tour in 2024, and announced a subsequent world tour.

Musical style

Hamilton's music has been described as EDM and Krushclub, but he self-classifies his music as "Sassy Scene". He has cited Kesha and Lady Gaga as inspirations.^[3]
