Cliffe Knechtle (born May 20, 1954) is an American non-denominational Christian pastor, Christian apologist, evangelist, and influencer. Born in New York City, Cliffe was educated at Davidson College in North Carolina before attending and graduating from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary outside of Boston. After his graduation, he began working with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, as well as various churches throughout the United States. His son Stuart Knechtle was born June 24, 1988. In 1991, Stuart created Give Me an Answer as an expansion of the dialogues he had with students at various universities, which Stuart would eventually go on to co-host.
