Elsa Cárdenas

In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Cárdenas and the second or maternal family name is Rentería.

Elsa Cárdenas Rentería (born 3 August 1932)^[1] is a Mexican actress. Since 1954 she has appeared in more than 100 films and television shows. She starred in the film Happiness, which was entered into the 7th Berlin International Film Festival.^[2] She acted alongside many stars, including James Dean in Giant and Elvis Presley in Fun in Acapulco.^[3] She was formerly married to Houston independent oil operator Guy Patton.^[4]
