The second season of the Fire Force anime television series is based on Atsushi Ohkubo's manga series of the same name. It was announced following the first season finale, also produced by David Production.[1] The season was directed and written by Tatsuma Minamikawa, who respectively replaced Yuki Yase and Yamato Haishima from the previous season. It aired from July 4 to December 12, 2020, on the Animeism programming block on MBS, TBS, BS-TBS, and other networks.[2][3][a]
