Frankenstein's Monster's Monster, Frankenstein is a surreal comedy mockumentary short film directed by Daniel Gray Longino, written by John Levenstein, and starring David Harbour, Alex Ozerov, Kate Berlant, Mary Woronov, Alfred Molina, Marion Van Cuyck and Heather Lawless.^[2][3] It was released on Netflix on July 16, 2019.^[4]

Plot

The film is presented as a "documentary" that investigates the origins of the legacy of the actor family of David Harbour, centred on the life of actor David Harbour Jr(portrayed as father of David harbour),a made up actor for the mockumentary. D.H Sr. Is portrayed as a typical theatrical method acting actor who participates in a tv adaptation of an absurd complex theatrical production who is fascinated with british method acting and has bitter rivalry with his co actor, who he hates because of his own insecurity of faking his own academic credentials of being a Juliard actor. The film is filled with a lot of theatrical setups.

The website's critical consensus reads, "While Frankenstein's Monster's Monster, Frankenstein's offbeat sense of humor might be too strange for some, those looking for a kooky new comedy will find much to like in its spooky spoofs."^[5] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned a score of 66 out of 100 based on four critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews".^[6]
