At the 2023 European Wrestling Championships held in Zagreb, Jørgensen won a bronze medal after defeating Pedro Caldas of Portugal and Murat Fırat of Türkiye in the repechage bracket, following a quarterfinal loss to eventual gold medalist Hasrat Jafarov of Azerbaijan.[3]
Later that year, he competed at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade. He defeated Ankit Gulia of India in the opening round but was eliminated by Azerbaijan’s Ulvu Ganizade in the round of 16.[3]
