Codevila played for Rampla Juniors, Liverpool de Montevideo and Rentistas in the Primera División Uruguaya. He also played for Deportivo Italiano in the Primera B Nacional Argentina and finished his playing career with Deportivo Cuenca in Serie A de Ecuador.^[3]
