Hottingen (Swiss Standard German: Hottinge)[1] is a quarter in District 7 of Zurich.[2] It was formerly a municipality of its own, but was incorporated into Zurich in 1893.[3][4]

The quarter has a population of 10,100 in an area of 5.05 square kilometres (1.95 sq mi).[citation needed]
Hottingen is located on the southern side of the Adlisberg. The upper part of Hottingen is called Dolder and is a residential quarter of Zurich.[citation needed]
Points of interests include, besides Adlisberg, the Villa Tobler, its park and the Theater an der Winkelwiese.[citation needed]
