Jadaun (clan)

Jadaun also known Jadon is a Rajput clan of Indian origin.^[1][2][3] They claim descent from the Yaduvanshi lineage of the Chandravanshi dynasty.^[4] They further claim to be the descendants of Krishna. It is believed that once they ruled the state of Mathura and later shifted to Bayana and Karauli.^[5][6][7][8]

A sub-group of Charan Banjara caste is also known by the name Jadon.^[9]
