Jan Kumstát (born 2 January 2007) is a Czech tennis player. He won the boys' doubles event at the 2025 Australian Open.[1][2]

In the summer of 2022 he won gold in the singles at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Banská Bystrica.[3]
He was part of the Czech team that won the 2023 Junior Davis Cup.[4]
Competing in the junior events at the 2024 Australian Open he made his debut at a junior grand slam tournament.[5] He defeated home favourite Hayden Jones on his way to reaching the final.[6][7] In the final he lost to Rei Sakamoto of Japan.[8] He also reached the quarter-finals in the boys' doubles with Norwegian partner Nicolai Budkov Kjær.[9]
Playing alongside compatriot Jan Klimas he reached the final of the boys' doubles at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships where they were defeated by Alexander Razeghi and Max Schönhaus.[10][11]
He went into the 2025 Australian Open as the highest-ranked junior in the tournament.[12] He reached quarter-final of the boys' singles at the Australian Open in 2025 where he lost to Henry Bernet.[13] He also reached the final of the boys' doubles alongside Maxwell Exsted, where they defeated Ognjen Milic and Egor Pleshivtsev for the title.[14][15]
Playing on Pro Tour in 2025 Kumstát reached his first two ITF singles finals at back to back events in Italy and Slovenia. In doubles he played another two finals with fellow Czech players David Poljak and Denis Peták. He also made his ATP Challenger Tour debut in Ostrava defeating Murphy Cassone in the first round.

Personal life
He is from Prostějov, he is the son of ice hockey player Pavel Kumstát and nephew of Petr Kumstát. His mother Kateřina was a volleyball player.[16]
