José Ramón Bauzá Díaz (Spanish pronunciation: [xoˈse raˈmom bawˈθa]; born 16 November 1970) is a Spanish politician and the president of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands from 2011 to 2015.[2][3] Born to a Majorcan father and a mother native to Madrid, he is licensed as a pharmacist by the Complutense University of Madrid. He owns his own pharmacy in his hometown of Marratxí.

- 2001-2003: deputy mayor for Town Planning and Health in the City Council of Marrachí.

Controversy
According to Politico Europe, Bauzá did not disclose that he held shares in the startup Gas2Move when he joined the European Parliament in 2019.[6]
In 2023, Bauzá was investigated by parliamentary authorities over allegations of workplace harassment.[7]
