Laura Potter

Laura A. Potter is a United States Army lieutenant general who has served as the 58th director of the Army Staff since 5 January 2024. She most recently served as the deputy chief of staff for intelligence (G-2) of the United States Army from 2020 to 2024. Previously, she was the commanding general of the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence.^[1][2][3][4]

In May 2023, Potter was nominated for reappointment as a lieutenant general with assignment as director of the Army Staff.^[5][6]
