List of NCAA Division I women's volleyball programs

This is a list of schools who field women's volleyball teams in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States.

As of the 2024 season, 347 of the 365 Division I member institutions sponsor women's volleyball.[a] Conference affiliations and venues represent those for the 2025 NCAA women's volleyball season.[1]

  1. Began transition from Division II in July 2024; will not be eligible for the NCAA tournament until 2027.
  2. Joining the Mountain West Conference in 2026.
  3. The Indiana University and Purdue University systems dissolved Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis after the 2023–24 academic year, replacing it with separate IU- and Purdue-affiliated institutions. The IUPUI athletic program transferred to the new IU Indianapolis, which is home to the vast majority of current IUPUI academic programs. The official athletic website is using "IU Indy" branding.
