The number of mobile connections in Eritrea increased by 122 thousand (+8.3 percent) between the start of 2023 and the start of 2024.[50]

The number of mobile connections in Ethiopia increased by 8.2 million (+11.9 percent) between the start of 2023 and the start of 2024.[54]
