Yey! (stylized as YeY!) is a Philippine children's pay television channel created by ABS-CBN, and was one of the freemium channels of ABS-CBN TV Plus.[2][3][4] Yey! was the second animation channel of ABS-CBN, after Hero TV. The channel aired Filipino-dubbed Japanese anime series and foreign cartoon shows, along with imported programming from ABS-CBN's former main channel and Hero TV.

ABS-CBN TV Plus (2011–2020)

Yey! was first known as a digital free-to-air channel that was first launched in 2011 as test broadcast. On February 11, 2015, the channel became available on ABS-CBN TV Plus in the digital box channel 4.[5]

On June 30, 2020, the channel ceased broadcasting permanently due to the alias cease-and-desist order (ACDO) issued by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and Solicitor General Jose Calida.[6][7] On September 10, 2020, the frequency for Yey! (from channel 43) had been recalled by the NTC.[8] In January 2022, the former frequency for Yey! was awarded to Apollo Quiboloy's Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI).[9]

Programming block (2021–present)

On November 6, 2021, Yey! was relaunched as a programming block on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z (under "Kidz Toon Time" and "Kidz Weekend"), and Jeepney TV.[10][11][12] Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card resumed airing on A2Z and completed all the episodes.

On April 14, 2024, ALLTV will block on Yey! as a blocktimer on Jeepney TV. It airs the reruns of the several fantasy drama series produced by ABS-CBN.

On September 30, 2024, Yey! block was premiered on TV5 (under "TV5 Kids"). It airs the reruns of the Filipino-dubbed foreign cartoon shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants and PJ Masks.

On October 20, 2024, Yey! block was premiered on GMA Network (under "Astig Authority"). It airs the reruns of the Filipino-dubbed Japanese anime series such as Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card.

It was aired Mondays to Sundays from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
  • Kid Sine – A weekend movie block that was aired from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, featuring classic local films every Saturdays, and Tagalog-dubbed foreign films every Sundays.
