Matúš Kmeť (born 27 June 2000) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a right-back or midfielder for Ekstraklasa club Górnik Zabrze, on loan from Minnesota United, and the Slovakia national team.

Club career
MFK Ružomberok
Kmeť made his Fortuna Liga debut for Ružomberok against Žilina on 4 August 2018.[1]
AS Trenčín
In December 2020, it was announced that Kmeť had been transferred to AS Trenčín, signing a three-year contract.[2] He made his debut on 20 February 2021 against FK Senica.
Minnesota United
On 5 August 2024, Kmeť was transferred to Major League Soccer side Minnesota United on a two-and-a-half-year deal, with a one-year extension option.[3]
Loan to Górnik Zabrze
On 6 February 2025, after failing to make an appearance for Minnesota's first team, Kmeť joined Polish club Górnik Zabrze on loan until the end of 2025, with an option to make the move permanent.[4]
