Patera clenchi

Patera clenchi (syn. Mesodon clenchi)^[1] is a species of land snail in the family Polygyridae. It is endemic to Arkansas in the United States.^[2] Its common names include Calico Rock oval,^[2][3] Clench's middle-toothed land snail, and Mission Creek Oregonian.^[1]

The snail occurs in leaf litter in rocky cliff and rockslide habitat.^[1] It is threatened by habitat disturbance.^[1]

The species was named for the American malacologist William J. Clench.
