Done, with a couple of modifications after checking a few sources. Please check my work. – Jonesey95 (talk) 14:52, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
Roger Williams lists all three colors (blue, gold and white) as official school colors. Salve Regina lists their secondary color as white with black used for accents. Tufts lists their primary color as 'Tufts Blue' though I've seen their athletic logo used interchangeably with either blue or brown so I'm not sure which way it should be. I've changed the first two in the sandbox and left Tufts alone. I've also fixed an error with UMass Boston from the earlier edit (switched colors 2 and 3). Everything else looks good. PensRule11385 (talk) 17:36, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
Done. I'm pretty sure I checked Tufts against the cited source. – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:49, 11 December 2018 (UTC)

Lubbock Christian colors

Could someone please update the colors for the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals? I'm making a template for the school and have noticed that the colors are out of date. Red is no longer the preferred accent per the 2017 style guide, which can be found on page 2 of this document https://lcu.edu/flexPaper/LCUStyleGuide_May2017/

Please change Pittsburgh Panthers (line 699) from name1="Royal Blue" to name1="Blue".

Explanation: the term "royal blue" is a generic, unofficial descriptor of a new primary color palette being implemented for athletics. The new shades have technically been developed by Nike as unique "Pitt Royal" and "Pitt Gold" palettes. However, the names "royal blue", "Pitt Royal", or "Pitt Gold" are not the names that the university or its athletic department uses for the school's or teams' colors. Historically, and continuing currently, the colors are simply named or referred to as "Blue and Gold" in all manner of official and non-official capacity (i.e. "Blue and Gold Society", "Blue and Gold Days", "Blue and Gold" spring football game, "Blue" athletic giving levels, fight songs lyrics employing "Blue and Gold", athletic paraphernalia, etc). Therefore, color names employed should read "Blue" and "Gold". CrazyPaco (talk) 16:36, 15 April 2019 (UTC) CrazyPaco (talk) 16:36, 15 April 2019 (UTC)

Is there a better way to structure /data so it doesn't have to load a 1100-line 240k database every time (ie. page load)? It should be possible to split it alphabetically, as one idea, or even into 4 files. -- GreenC 14:35, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

Can you link an article where performance issues can be seen? I'm not trying to be smart with that request as I share the sentiment. What I mean is that I would have a look at the issue if there were a page somewhere I could use to test what's going on. Johnuniq (talk) 00:02, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

The Georgia Tech secondary color (black #000000) does not appear on the referenced source (https://ramblinwreck.com/georgia-tech-athletics-brand-guidelines/). The source is appropriate. The secondary color, replacing #000000, is white (#FFFFFF). If for some reason unbeknownst to me white is not an acceptable color for clarity/formatting reasons, dark grey (#545454) or light grey (#E5E5E5) should be used (preferably dark grey). All of this correction is found on the reference currently in the template.

It has been reverted by Corkythehornetfan. Which talk page are you talking about Corkythehornetfan? Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 23:02, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
Iwentdwarfing and Dreamy Jazz you gotta give me a minute to write! I’m on my mobile device 😊
the reason we’re using “black” is because white on Tech Gold is not compliant, meaning it’s hard for those who are visually impaired can’t read it. Black is only used for the font, as the navy blue is the border color. Tech athletics does not use “Buzz Gold” as they moved to Tech gold for everything this past year, which is why we don’t use the university website brand guide.
545454 is not compliant, and neither is #E5E5E5. That’s why we use black font. Hope that helps. Corky 23:08, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
Corkythehornetfan, Ok. Makes sense. I'll leave this edit request for you or another person, as I am unsure about grey.
On a side note, same with me with mobile. Half the time I try to visit a diff on my watchlist and my phone thinks it knows better and clicks on a completely different link... Thanks and happy editing, Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 23:14, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
I hear ya there! Dang my fat fingers! As for this module, we have evolved over the past couple of years and started doing contrast compliance a couple of years ago. It’s a learning experience, and though everyone wants their schools colors used, we have to add other colors to make sure sure everyone can read them. In cases like GA Tech, we make sure to only include non-school brand colors as font and not the actual backgrounds or borders. Corky 07:00, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

Please correct the data for Oregon State University to conform to the official media and branding guidelines as of the most recent update in April 2017. Specifically the new hex value and name for "Beaver Orange," the inclusion of white as an official color and their order of precedence require updating. Citations are provided to both the official marketing department standards page and a post on the Marketing Dept.'s blog written to be more easily understood by those lacking typographic experience. I believe the corrections should be coded as follows:
