Quick facts Muhammad bin 'Abd ar-Rahman bin 'Obayd Allah محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن عبيد الله, 10th Caliph of Córdoba ...

Muhammad III ruled after the death of Abd al-Rahman V from 1024 to 1025[2] but the people of Córdoba revolted against him and fearing the march of Yahya ibn Ali ibn Hammud al-Mu'tali, he was forced to flee the city.[3] It is believed that he died after being poisoned when he was 50 years old. He was also the father of the famous poet Wallada bint al-Mustakfi, whom he had with an Iberian Christian slave.[4]
