Natchiarkoil[1][2][3] is a neighbourhood in Kumbakonam of Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu state in the peninsular India. This place is the home town to some of most of the famous producers of traditional lamps viz., 'Kuththu Vilakku' which are made of brass.[4]

Location
Natchiarkoil is located at an altitude of about 46.79 metres (153.5 ft) above the mean sea level with the geographic coordinates of (10.9177°N 79.4455°E) in Kumbakonam taluk.[citation needed]
Population
As of 2011 census of India, the population of Natchiarkoil was 7,505.[5][6]
Religion
There is a Hindu temple viz., Srinivasa Perumal Temple which is one of the 108 Divyadesams, at Natchiarkoil neighbourhood.[7][8]
Politics
Natchiarkoil comes under Thiruvidaimarudur state assembly constituency and Mayiladuthurai Parliamentary constituency.[9]
