Neodymium(II) hydride

Neodymium dihydride is an inorganic compound, with the chemical formula of NdH₂, although it is an electride, and it is actually composed of Nd³⁺(e⁻)(H⁻)₂. It is ferromagnetic.^[1]

Neodymium dihydride reacts with lithium borohydride to obtain neodymium tetraboride:^[2]

NdH₂ + 4 LiBH₄ → NdB₄ + 4 LiH + 7 H₂↑
