International career
In March 2022, Bảo Long was named in Vietnam U17 squad for a training camp in Germany.[6] Later in the year, he was called up to Vietnam national under-19 team for the AFF U-19 Youth Championship. Bảo Long appeared in 6 matches and was a key member in helping Vietnam finish in third place.[7][8]
In 2023, Bảo Long participated in the 2023 AFC U-20 Championship with Vietnam national under-20s.[9] He didn't appear in any game as Vietnam failed to reach the quarter-finals despite having won two out of their three matches.[10]
