Perspective
District boundaries have changed over time. Therefore, representatives before 2021 may not represent the same constituency as today. General election results from 2000 to present[3][4] are as follows:
- Ben Westlund was the incumbent in this election. He previously represented District 55, but was moved to this district due to redistricting following the 2000 United States census.[5]
- Gene Whisnant was the incumbent in this election. He was appointed to this seat on September 3, 2003 to replace Ben Westlund, who resigned to take an appointment to the 27th district seat in the Oregon Senate.[6][7][8]
