The Penrith Panthers were officially introduced to the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL – now known as NRL) – the premier Rugby League competition in Australia – in 1967 and have had an eventful 55 years, winning 4 wooden spoons and 6 premierships (finishing runners-up twice).
