Upland hornsnail

The upland hornsnail, scientific name Pleurocera showalterii, is a species of freshwater snail with an operculum, an aquatic gastropod mollusc in the family Pleuroceridae. This species is endemic to Alabama and Georgia in the United States.^[2]
