New Gaza
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Project New Gaza is a joint plan led by Husam al-Astal, leader of the Counter-Terrorism Strike Force, an Israeli-backed militant group in the Gaza Strip. Astal claims to have support from a variety of other anti-Hamas Gazan militias including the Popular Forces, the People's Army Northern Forces and the Popular Defense Forces.[1][2]

Following the signing of the Gaza peace plan in October 2025, the Counter-Terrorism Strike Force and Popular Forces have voiced their support for the agreement and willingness to cooperate with the United Nations mandated Board of Peace established to oversee the administration and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip under international administration.[3]
